This is for the exceedingly rare eventuality that a certificate might be issued incorrectly. It’s just in case an incorrectly issued certificate causes the end-user harm. You can see the specific warranty information for each product on the relevant page.
You should be wary of any provider not offering a warranty, after all it demonstrates that the supplier is not confident in the certificates they are selling.
We strongly recommend only purchasing SSL Certificates from reputable Certificate Authorities such as SYMANTEC, GlobalSign, GeoTrust, Thawte, Sectigo (früher Comodo) SSL-Zertifikate or RapidSSL.
